RE-ANNOUNCEMENT FOR MIDWAY TOWN PARK PICNIC SHELTER AND GAZEBO OFFERS Three offers were not received on December 7, 2021, as required by North Carolina General Law 143-132 (a) , which requires a minimum of three competitive bids to be received for formal construction and repair contracts. If less than the three required bids are submitted, as required by NCGS 143-129, the project may be reposted. Therefore, in accordance with NCGS 143-129, sealed proposals for the construction of a picnic shelter and gazebo in the municipal park will now be received until 3:00 p.m. on or before Tuesday, February 1. 2022, at Midway Town Hall, 426. Any offer received after the specified date and time will not be considered. Main Street Suite 1204, Winston-Salem, NC 27101 between hours from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Contractors will be responsible for printing and / or shipping the tender documents. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at Town Hall in the Town of Midway for all bidders at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 11, 2022. The purpose of this meeting is to allow bidders to present questions, obtain clarification and inspect the project site.
