Simone Biles returns with mind-blowing routine in beam final

Next up is Sunisa Lee – the individual all-around champion. There was a wobble from the American halfway through her routine, but she held on before achieving an exceptional finish. This oscillation is likely to cost the 18-year-old.
It’s a 13.866 for Lee, which puts her in a tie for third place.

Biles is second after a score of 14,000 – I’m sure many would have thought the judges would have scored this high.
Biles is rated for a 6,100 in terms of difficulty and receives a score of 7,900 for his performance.
This is unlikely to be enough for a medal considering there are five gymnasts to come – but it was an incredible performance from Biles and she looks proud of her performance in that Olympic final.
