Taste of Saskatchewan is back this year, but the event is different from what it was in the past. The event takes place Friday from 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Kiwanis Memorial Park. The downtown sidewalk sale takes place Friday and Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on 2nd Avenue and 21st Street. The event features several local stores, daily live music, a slide, clowns, superheroes and more. Find more information at dtnyxe.ca.

3. Find flea market treasures

The SASK Flea Market will be held Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. at Sutherland Hall (1112 Central Ave.). A variety of vendors will sell everything from antiques to comics, records, toys and more. Admission is $ 2 at the door; children 10 and under enter for free. Learn more at facebook.com/Saskfleamarket.

4. Stomp your foot

Meet at the John Arcand Fiddle Fest Grounds (10 kilometers southwest of Saskatoon on Highway 60) for two concerts on Friday and Saturday. The shows start at 7 p.m. each evening.
