GREENVILLE, South Carolina, September 21, 2021– (BUSINESS WIRE) – World Acceptance Corporation (NASDAQ: WRLD) (“World Acceptance” or “the Company”) today announced that it plans to offer a total principal amount of $ 300.0 million. dollars of senior bonds due 2026 (the “Bonds”) under a private offering on the basis of an exemption from the registration requirements of the Securities Act of 1933, as amended (the “Securities Act “), Subject to market and other factors.

The Notes will be guaranteed on a senior unsecured basis by certain of World Acceptance’s existing subsidiaries which are borrowers or guarantors under the Company’s senior secured revolving credit facility (the “Revolving Credit Facility” ).

World Acceptance intends to use the proceeds of the offering of the Notes to repay a portion of the outstanding borrowings under the Revolving Credit Facility and to pay transaction fees and related expenses. Proceeds used to repay a portion of the outstanding borrowings under the revolving credit facility will not reduce the commitments of lenders under the revolving credit facility. Amounts used to repay a portion of the outstanding borrowings under the revolving credit facility may be re-borrowed, subject to the terms of the revolving credit facility.
