Edelweiss General Insurance, using wit and humor in its #SwitchToSave digital campaign, featuring comedian, Raunaq Rajani, explains how you don’t have to pay a premium on your car insurance if you don’t drive it and that one can save on their car insurance premium simply by being a better driver.

The new campaign involves a very lighthearted banter between its executive director and CEO, Shanai Ghosh, and stand-up comedian Rajani. The conversation revolves around Ghosh educating Rajani on how driving less and driving better leads to premium savings, then challenging him to take a test drive to prove who a better driver is.

The film ends with the display of a comparative driving dashboard generated via the application which tracks the movement of the vehicle and calculates the score taking into account several driving parameters such as speeding, distraction driving, sudden braking, etc.

EGI will effectively leverage all digital media for the #SwitchToSave campaign. The company will engage extensively with customers and other stakeholders through Google platforms, display and banner advertising, direct publishers, social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube, emails and text messages with the message: drive less, pay less; ride better, pay less!

This three-month outreach will be done through simple and original short videos, influencer engagement and posts, aiming to raise awareness of product features and encourage customers to only pay for what they use. Actually.

Ghosh said: “Switch was designed to incentivize good driving and ensure that customers only pay for how much they drive and how hard they drive. Through our campaign, we want to encourage customers to make the switch and save. The message is delivered in a fun and engaging way that will appeal to the mobile-savvy customer. »

The goal of effective digital journey design is to ensure that even if brands have only limited influence over how a customer navigates through their touchpoints, a brand can still control their experience by building an omnichannel framework that better supports and anticipates its journey.

The platform helps brands generate more revenue from existing customers and anonymous users across all channels.
